News and Updates

The Dayton Business Technology High School Secures Prestigious Equity in Career-Technical Education Grant

The Dayton Business Technology High School is thrilled to announce that they have been selected as one of only eleven schools in the entire state of Ohio to receive the coveted Equity in Career-Technical Education Grant.

Authored by KMT Consulting Co., the proposal secured vital funding to bridge the gap and increase access to high-quality career-technical programs for underserved student populations.

The Equity in Career-Technical Education Grant, administered by the Ohio Department of Education, is a competitive program designed to address equity gaps in CTE enrollment, engagement, performance, and outcomes for special populations. This critical funding will enable DBTHS to develop a state-of-the-art construction lab focused on carpentry, electrical, and plumbing trades.

Our goal is to equip economically disadvantaged students, particularly from the Dayton Community, with the necessary training, skills, and industry-recognized credentials to enter the high-demand construction workforce.

Contact the school for more information on how to enroll and participate in the Construction Pathways.

From the Principal’s Office

Welcome to Dayton Business Technolgy High School, home of the Pumas! I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to each one of you as you embark on an exciting journey of learning, growth, and discovery.
